Raiz project intends to give value and visibility to the incredible creative and productive potential of the Brazilian design industry. Among the 13 Brazilian designers selected, Jader Almeida and his creations for Sollos, were selected and received a dedicated booth at the Javits Center New York, at the booth 2447. The concept of the booth was developed by Jader Almeida, and reflects his thinking in the creation of his pieces – precise, weightless and clear – to value the product’s shapes.

Some of the most iconic products Clad lounge chairs, Jardim and Cigg Side table, Easy Chair and Mia Armchair are showcased at the ICFF booth on a sophisticated and understated display. It is important to note that the MIA line of chairs and armchairs (2016 design) recently won the Red Dot Design Award 2017 in the Furniture category and it is the most recent product that is being released this here.

Sollos by Jader Almeida

13 years after its creation, Sollos by Jader Almeida can be proud of its multi-faceted collection that includes a wide variety of furnishings, from chairs, upholstered lounge chairs, sofas, tables, interior design items, to lighting and decorative accessories.

Quality design is the hallmark of Sollos’ philosophy, and the company has built its entire production chain around it: from the selection of raw materials to production and customer relations. Sollos’ product philosophy is based on a few cardinal values: quality and integrity in the materials used, with the idea that they can be combined to create new object perspectives and interpretations.

Wood is used intensively in Sollos collections and this living, organic and sensual material is their distinctive trait. Sollos uses top quality wood from unprotected forests. Through painstaking craftsmanship, the company explores wood’s extreme limits to obtain sophisticated shapes and finishes that delight both the eye and the hand.

Similarly, metals are forged as if they were veritable pieces of jewelery.

Details like these make all the difference in every one of Sollos’ products. While the shape of a piece of furniture might catch the eye, it’s the details that create a deeper and more intimate rapport.

Today Sollos aims to become a world-wide recognized brand and it is living an intensive program of internationalization activating collaborations with high-end retailers all around the world. The countries where Sollos collections by Jader Almeida are now distributed are:  Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Denmark, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Lebanon, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Spain, UAE, UK, USA.
