The LA-based brand will introduce six new pieces from its new collection during the show
Bend Goods, known for its playful and colorful wire furnishings, is excited to showcase part of its second collection during the upcoming International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York. In true Bend fashion, the brand has been taking a playful and creative approach to the release of this collection, which began in January, with a year-long product rollout, full of surprise, with one new product announced every month. The first six pieces part of this collection will be shown in person for the first time during the fair.
The new collection will be complimentary to the brand’s core assortment, but will showcase a new side for Bend. The brand will expand its seating offerings, lighting and occasional table assortment with new designs, but will also introduce pieces in new categories, including dining and bistro tables and upholstered pieces. Consumers can look forward to Bend’s bold geometric lines and shapes made from vibrantly colored wire, which has become the brand’s signature.
“We are excited to introduce our new pieces during ICFF and show visitors a new side of the brand,” said Gaurav Nanda, Bend Goods Founder. “When we started five years ago, we had a simple idea: to create playful pieces that were timeless in nature. Now, we are ready to show consumers an evolved look for Bend, but still with our playful and signature bold geometric lines, shapes and colors.”
The second new collection, highlighted during ICFF includes the following pieces:
SWITCH Table & Stool – introduced in January (and currently available for pre-order), this piece is an exploration in where functionality meets style. SWITCH features the brand’s iconic wire framing with two options for a top – a standard glass top, and the optional vegan leather table/stool pad.
The brand introduced the Betty Side Chair in February. This piece is a bohemian staking chair for every occasion that doesn’t sacrifice style of space. Made from powder coated steel, Betty is an indoor/outdoor, stylish seating option with the strength to stand up to the elements, and available in a wide array of colors. Betty also has the option of many different add-on “wardrobe” pieces, including a triangular pad, LBD (little Black Dress) Pad and the Evening Pad.
Bend will continue to rollout one product a month for the remainder of the calendar year, culminating with the opening of the Bend Bungalow in December.
